February Snow

We were slammed with snow in February. We had 3 really good storms that all gave us over 12 inches! This is the last snow that we had. It dumped a good 16 inches on us. It was so fun to play in all of the snow!

Uncle Keeeeef

Owen has a very special bond with his uncle "Keeeeeeeeef" (Keith) 

The amazing straw...bummer it didn't work but it sure was fun making it:)

 

 

 Story time with uncle Keith...Oh how Owen loved loved loved story time with the 100 animals book.  I think his favorite was the elephant noises Keith would make!  Owen would giggle every time!

Auntie Kerry's

My wonderful, spectacular, lovely best friend Kerry and her husband Keith opened their home and their hearts to us for 3 whole weeks. We had an amazing time! I can't tell you how blessed I am that my best friend and her husband housed me, Owen and my two crazy dogs. Owen created a very special bond with Kerry and Keith, and I am so very thankful for my dear friends!

OHIO

To break up the road trip, Sean and I stopped to see Dave and Emily in Ohio for the weekend during our road trip...Had a great time with our friends!!

The Road Adventure of 2011...

Oh Yes...the road trip that brought us to NY...

Sean and I drove from Texas through the night for a total of 18 hours to get to Ohio to see our good friends Dave and Emily.  Neither of us have "fond" memories of the trip...I think we both blocked out the trip out from our memories...

Farewell Texas

**It's been a while folks...We've had some adventures along the way...I will do my best to update, however I can't promise it will be chronologically ordered from the last post to now.*  

So...Farewell Texas. My farewell to Texas was a lot tougher than I anticipated.  God blessed us with so many wonderful friends that became family.  The house we bought in 2005 became our home, and that home was wonderful, and lovely, and warm, and inviting.  It housed many family and friends along the years, and most importantly it saw us through the birth of our son, his first giggle, his first crawl, and the first steps.  It was a lovely home, and we will miss the home, and the friends that we were surrounded with while in it. As the movers were finishing up, I caught a few photos of the empty house with my phone.  It was a hard day...
