And We're Off...

And the adventure begins tomorrow....

Owen and I will travel the skies to New York for the Thanksgiving Holiday.

We can't WAIT to be reunited with daddy!

Owen is super excited to fly on the airplane, and mommy is super nervous about flying alone with a toddler who is 2 weeks shy of being 2. This could be an interesting trip.

We ask that you would pray for us as we head on this adventure just the two of us.

Happy Thanksgiving to all!

O and the three blankets

There once was a boy named Owen
who would not part with his favorite
three blankets. When asked "ready to go?"
He'd reply with a "no"
and carry his three blankets behind him.

Trick or Treat!

Although Daddy wasn't with us for Halloween this year, O and I still had a great time!

We went to a friends church about 10 minutes away and did some "trunk or treating". After "trunk or treating",we went to a few houses in the neighborhood, and caught up with some dear friends.

Owen had a blast:) We are looking forward to next year, when all 3 of us can be together, and it will really be fall weather:)

O and the big red ball

The best investment I have EVER made. This ball makes this kid so stinkin' happy. Lucky for me, it was only $2!!! This kid just needs a basket full of balls and he is happy:)

Trick or Trick?

O and I had a mini dress up practice session before Halloween on Saturday morning. As most of you know, I am a bargain shopper, and I found O's costume last year at a garage sale for $2. I was super excited about it, but he never got to try it on last year, because I smartly bought it a size too big. So I got a little nervous the day before Halloween, because I know a lot of kids Owen's age, don't particularly like wearing costumes. I pulled the costume out, and we had a mini dress up session. Lo and behold, O LOVED wearing it! He just strutted around the bedroom with his costume on with a big grin on his face! One of the best $2 I have spent yet...that is until the big red ball... More on that later! :) We also practiced saying "trick or treat", and it sounded more like "trick trick" but so sweet nonetheless.

Enjoy the practice session photos:)

Pumpkin Patch 2010

Before Sean left for New York, we had a great family weekend. One day involved heading to the pumpkin patch and picking out our pumpkins!

Anytime Owen sees anything that is remotely round like a ball, he has to test it's trajectory. This one passes the test I think...This kid cracks me up!

Owen and Daddy...they are sitting exactly the same! Hands crossed, slight smile...
