Happy Belated St. Patrick's Day!

We had a great St. Patrick's Day!  We had a FEAST for dinner, Sean made a traditional Irish meal for 10 people!  Our great friends from Ohio were down visiting along with our great friends and neighbors joined us for a fun filled night!   

Here are a few fun pics of Owen!  I grabbed the camera real fast the first part of the night, and I didn't pick it up again until it was too late!  I am shooting myself for not taking more photos that night!  It was such a great night with our neighbors and our wonderful friends from Ohio!  Such wonderful memories:)

Whistle While you Work

So today was my first day back to work after a blissful 13 week maternity leave! It wasn't exactly a happy-go-lucky-spectacular-perfect-fun-filled day, but it was great because I am blessed to have a job! I just didn't think that my brain would have been so rusty...My goodness...There were times where I was a complete space cadet!...Like if you asked me where the Dow was...I would have stuttered...and said "Eh?".  (Not really but you get the point). I hope that my brain will regain it's power soon!  It was bittersweet, it felt amazing to wake up and be showered with makeup and hair done all before 6:30am! And yet it was hard to have to wake Owen up from from a dreamy state to feed him before going off to the babysitter.   

There were many times today where I thought to myself..."I would much rather be singing silly songs to Owen".   But it was so nice to get home with him and play and dance and laugh together.  And he was so happy to see me when I got to the babysitter's! 

I only hope that the coming weeks will get easier...because today was a little tough!  But I did get through it, and I thank all of you for all of your prayers! 

Chile Anyone??

My oldest brother, Dave is traveling to Chile tomorrow for 2 weeks!  Please pray for him in his travels.  He means the world to me and to so many people, and we pray that God will deliver him safely! Adele will be home by herself for 2 weeks making their little baby grow, please pray for Adele to keep busy and to make healthy baby:-)

My Love for Clocks!

So most of you know that I LOVE clocks!  I have a clock literally in every room in the house.  I also have a clock wall in my living room.  The only time where I think I don't enjoy my clock wall is...that's right you guessed it....daylight savings. 

This weekend Sean and I changed all of the time on all of the clocks in the house.  I counted them just for giggles, and I have 25 clocks in my house! Yahoo...the scary thing is...I want MORE!  You may think that it took us FOREVER to change the clocks, but it really didn't.  I changed most of the easy ones on Saturday night, which only left us the clock wall on Sunday afternoon.  And that only took like 5-10 minutes to change all of the time. 

Here is a picture of my beloved clock wall...I still have plenty of space on the wall for more clocks...hopefully one day the whole wall will be filled.

During Owen's waketime, we have so much fun singing and dancing.  I found the greatest website Kididdles it is a wonderful site that gives you song lyrics to all of the old songs we all grew up with and some of the songs have the melodies so you can sing along.  Please, please check out this site.  There is nothing more important than music! And being silly is so much fun...indulge yourselves!

Bum Bum Time!

So Owen and I have been having A LOT of fun lately! He is growing and changing every day and it is so fun to sing and dance with him now.  He is so interactive and so in tune to what is going on around him.  Just this week he sat in his Bumbo chair for the first time.  His daddy calls it the "bum-bum" chair, which is way too cute and funny! 

He loves sitting in the bum-bum chair and and yet he is still trying to figure it out...Along with figuring out his hands, he has been absolutely fascinated by them lately...it is way too cute to see!  I am glad I got this shot! 

He also has discovered his tongue recently too!  He is absolutely fascinated by it.  I was lucky to get a cut picture of him sticking out his tongue. 

He is such a wonderful boy!  God has truly blessed us with such an amazing little son!
