Yum Yum

My baby boy is eating rice cereal!  I can't believe it!  He was like a little bird eating it, and couldn't get enough of it. Man...I love this kid!  

4 MONTHS OLD!!!

Owen had his 4 month check up this afternoon!  

I can't believe my baby boy is 4 months old! 

Here are the stats: 

Height: 24 inches (50th percentile)

Weight: 12 lbs 5 oz (20th percentile) 

We have a tall skinny boy on our hands.  Doc said that he is doing great, and is super healthy! YEAH!!!

Happy Easter

We had a wonderful Easter Weekend!  Sean and I both had Friday off, and had a special family picnic at Hagerman National Refuge along with a small hike.  Then we hurried home to make evening service at our church. I had wished to take more photos of the hike at Hagerman, but we forgot to load the "new" camera with the memory card, all we had was our video camera. 

Saturday we had another fun family day.  We watched movies, and played all day long.  Sean was feeling a little sicky, so we spent the morning in our jam-jams watching movies as a family. I haven't had a relax morning like that in a while.  It was MUCH needed. We snuggled as a family all morning, and then we did all of our normal weekend chores.  (YUCK :( )

Sunday, our best friends and neighbors sons, Taylor and Nolan were both baptized at church on Easter Sunday.  We went to their church service, and enjoyed Easter with their family. 

The weekend FLEW by!  I had these HUGE aspirations to get A TON done, and I just fell short.  I didn't take NEARLY as many photos as I would have liked, but here are some of my favorites from the weekend:)

So this is a shot taken in the car on the way home from church on Sunday.  He was having so much fun in the back of the car, just singing and cooing away, I had to go back there and take a few shots:)

Rollover...Rollover :-)

My baby boy has rolled over! He is not only rolling over from tummy to back, but from back to tummy!!   

I have attempted to post a video I captured of him rolling over, but I have had no luck! What I have figured I need to do is get a program that will compress files down to an upload acceptable size.  The video I have is 31.9 MB and it is only 1:37 long.  Anyone have any suggestions on a program that compresses files? 

I really want to be able to post my videos and send them along through e-mail.  Any help would be much appreciated...it will also help you because you will be able to see the videos:) 

I have several posts to make re-capping the past few weeks.  I shall return... 

Tummy TIme

I have realized it has been a while since my last post...I apologize!  I just find that I want to spend all of my free time with Owen and Sean and not the computer.  I will eventually learn the balance! 

On another note, I can't believe how fast Owen is growing!!  

Here are a few pictures of him doing some tummy time!  I can't believe it, he will be rolling over before we know it!  

I am doing well, still balancing work and being a mommy; there are some really taxing days, and then there are some really rewarding days.  There will soon be a balance I hope!  I have begun to feel like myself again, but I have realized that I need to step it up at work in order to get that ambition back.
